Tournaments

Put a phone at every board

On the organiser's phone, open the tournament, then ⋮ → Link boards. It shows a code. On each board's phone: Tournaments → Score a board, scan the code (or type it), and choose the board. Matches go to the boards as they come up, and the results come back to the organiser. Linking needs Chalkman Club on the organiser's phone only.

Let friends follow live

Open the tournament, then ⋮ → Share live, and send the picture or the link. Anyone can follow: in Chalkman (Tournaments → Follow live, then the code), or in any web browser with the link. Following is free.

Scoring

Checkout suggestions

They're off to start with. Turn them on in Settings → Checkout suggestions, and the finish appears under the thrower's score when there is one.

Undo or correct a score

Tap the undo arrow at the top to take back the last entry. To change an earlier visit, tap that player's row.

Purchases

Restore Remove ads or Club

On a new phone, sign in to the Play Store with the same Google account, then Settings → Restore purchases in Chalkman.

Cancel Club

In the Play Store: your picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Chalkman Club → Cancel. Club carries on until the end of the period you've paid for. Uninstalling Chalkman doesn't cancel it.

Refunds

Ask Google Play from your order history in the Play Store. If Google can't help, email us.

Your data

Move to a new phone

On the old phone, Settings → Export a backup, and save the file somewhere the new phone can reach, such as Google Drive or an email to yourself. On the new phone, Settings → Import a backup.

Delete data

Settings → Delete data removes games, tournaments, practice or players, each on its own. To have a tournament taken offline sooner, see the privacy page.

Ads and privacy

Change how ads may use information about you in Settings → Privacy choices. Remove ads, or Club, turns the ads off.
